OPPORTUNITY FOR NEW GRADUATES
Canterbury Christ Church University is working with the Universities of Kent, Greenwich and the Creative Arts within the Business First project to offer selected graduates an opportunity to work with businesses.
What’s in it for you?
- £500 per month bursary for up to 5 months
- Free specialised training to enable you to make a valuable contribution to the business you will be placed with
- The opportunity to inject your skills into a local business
- Valuable relevant experience and contacts which could lead to future employment
How will it work?
Eligible students will complete the attached Expression of Interest (EoI) form. The EoIs will be considered along with references from programme directors/supervisors. Selected graduates from across the four universities will then take part in a series of training workshops delivered during July and August at different locations. After the training, selected graduates will take up placements with businesses, based on project proposals that have been submitted by participating businesses.
Who can apply?
Numbers are limited so, currently, all 2009 graduates who complete before September 2009 can apply.
Will I get paid?
You will receive a bursary of £500 per month for a maximum of five months.
How do I apply?
Complete the Expression of Interest form and return to Carol Clewlow, Hall Place Enterprise Centre, Harbledown, Canterbury CT2 9AG or by email to carol.clewlow@canterbury.ac.uk.
What happens next?
We will get in touch with you as soon as possible after to advise whether you have been selected to participate.
